Custom Foot Orthotics

Custom foot orthotics are specialized medical devices custom fabricated in our lab using state-of-the-art 3D printing technology. This innovative manufacturing process allows us to create orthotics with unparalleled precision and accuracy. Our skilled orthotists begin by taking detailed measurements of the patient’s feet, capturing every contour and angle. Using digital data, we design and fabricate the orthotics using a 3D printer that carefully builds up layers of high-quality materials. This advanced method ensures a perfect fit and enables us to incorporate specific modifications and features tailored to each patient’s unique foot structure and condition. By harnessing the power of 3D printing, we can produce custom foot orthotics that provide exceptional comfort, support, and functionality for individuals seeking relief from foot-related issues.

Custom Ankle Foot Orthosis

Custom ankle foot orthoses (AFOs) are specialized medical devices custom fabricated in our lab, designed to support and improve the functionality of the ankle and foot. They are individually tailored to meet the unique needs of patients with various conditions, such as foot drop, cerebral palsy, or post-stroke weakness. Our skilled orthotists take precise measurements and molds of the patient’s lower limb to ensure a perfect fit. Using advanced materials and techniques, we carefully craft the AFOs to provide stability, correct alignment, and control excessive movements. By restoring or optimizing walking ability and reducing pain or discomfort, our custom AFOs can significantly enhance the overall quality of life for individuals with lower limb impairments.

Elite AFO Rehabilitator®

NEW TRIMMABLE FOOTPLATE !  The Elite AFO  Rehabilitator® provides optimal dorsi-assist to correct foot drop and to provide gait rehabilitation.  The Elite AFO Rehabilitator® has a trimmable footplate design that provides a slight correcting upwards “pop” at toe off to facilitate hip and knee flexion and to discourage hip circumduction.  The unique gait correcting actions of the Elite AFO Rehabilitator® facilitates improvements in gait both braced and unbraced.

The Elite AFO Rehabilitator® is the ideal AFO for patients with mild to moderate ankle instability and lower limb spasticity used in combination with physical therapy to facilitate gait relearning. The Elite AFO Rehabilitator® has an anterior cuff and lateral strut.  Anterior shell carbon fiber AFO design provides optimal dynamic dorsi-assist to correct foot drop.  The lateral strut is ideal for patients with pronation or eversion of the foot.  As the patient walks, ground reaction forces with improved heel strike activates forward momentum creating a dynamic ankle/foot dorsi-assist at toe off.  The unique flexible footplate provides an upward “pop” at toe off which facilitates hip and knee flexion and reduces hip circumduction.  The upward “pop” at toe off also provides a cue to the patient to assist with gait relearning.  Patients with more significant ankle instability may benefit from the use of the Elite Varus/Valgus Control Strap in combination with the Elite AFO Rehabilitator®.
